About Artist

David Frazer

David is a painter and veterinarian originally from Northern Ireland. Growing up on a farm, he developed a deep appreciation for animals, nature, and the landscapes that surrounded them—elements that continue to inspire their artwork.

Now living in Squamish, BC, for the past four years, David balances a career in veterinary medicine with a passion for painting. Working in oil, acrylic, and sketching, he is drawn to the rugged beauty of the UK countryside and the Rocky Mountains. His work captures the textures, colours, and emotions of these landscapes, reflecting a deep connection to place, memory, and movement.

While painting is a creative outlet and a hobby, it remains an important way for David to explore and enjoy the beauty of their surroundings—from the rolling fields of their childhood to the dramatic peaks and forests of the Pacific Northwest.
